missing you

well uncle jim ,who would have thought me and jim living across the landing from one another, thats us all in wishaw now ,we were just speaking about you ma nana the night over in jims house how you'se are sadley missed but i bet you'se are all partying now and having a good old chin wag about years gone bye missing you

my best friend

Jim was my older brother, there was 14 years between us, but as i got older we did a lot of things together, we used to go away for days in my mini bus to the seaside, portobello was his favoutite place, we would take all the kids, his 4 and my 4, margaret and bridget, our wives, and my mum and dad, we would take our wee gas stove and frying pan and make burger rolls, the kids loved it, ( those were the days ). Jim didnt keep very well but always put it down to indigestion, but he was suddenly taken from us on christmas day 1997 with a heart attack, it was a shock to everyone as he was only 57, but i have fond memories and they will stay with me forever.
